Life seems a mixture of good and bad,
At times being happy but sometimes sad,
Times of darkness and others of light,
Doing what's wrong or what is right.
Through all things you are going through,
Remember the Lord is there for you,
Ready to help when you are sad,
Removing your sorrow and making you glad.
The darkness is pierced by God's loving light;
By following Him you can do what is right.
With faith in your heart, trust God even more
And receive more blessings than ever before.

Such a lovely poem. My mother has started blogging - she is going to 81 this month - and she writes poetry. I would love it if you would drop by and visit her blog - she could stand a little encouragement to continue! Her blog is http://aboutlifeandliving.blogspot.com/
I enjoy reading your work - very inspirational!
What beautiful photograph and such lovely sentiments in your poem!
That is a lot like the verse in Ecclesiastes 23 - a time for everything. Love it. sandie
Fabulous poem, Connie... The picture is perfect --showing the light. Yes, there is good and bad in life ---but with Christ, everything is possible.
Hugs,
Betsy

Sandie, I hadn't thought about it, but you're right! Thanks!
Betsy, so true! With Christ all things are possible.
Sorry about the word verification. I had a lot of spam so had to put it on. I'll try again without it and see how it goes.
Nice poem, Connie. I like those last few lines the best.
Beautifully written Connie! Really LOVED the last two sentences :) Blessings!
Connie, thank you for sharing such a lovely poem. Blessings to you.
Very inspirational. I like how you keep it simple - this way, the structure and diction of the poem really show the meaning that it's simple to find help and trust even in the most complicated of situations!
This poem and photo describes life so beautifully
